Directions to Cortijo Rosario by car

 

 

From Sevilla Airport

 

Sevilla  ------  Osuna  ------  El Saucejo  ------  Algámitas  ------  Cortijo Rosario  

 

Leave the airport in the direction of Seville on the N4 (IV) before you arrive in Seville you will see signs for Granada & Malaga, follow this exit off the motorway and follow the road to join the A92 towards Osuna, Granada and Malaga, after about 80Kms at Osuna you should take exit 82, signposted to “Osuna-El Saucejo” and follow the signs to El Saucejo, this road is the A351. After approximately 20kms you should turn right signed to El Saucejo, stay on this road through the town and follow the sign to Algámitas, this road is the SE461/A360. You will enter Algámitas up a palm lined road; keep following this road which bears round to the right. You will leave the village in the direction of Pruna and after about ½ Km you will come to a left hand bend, at this point you should turn right onto a gravel road. Another ½ km later you should turn right up a concrete track. Cortijo Rosario is the second white building on your right.

 

 

From Malaga Airport

Coming out of the airport cross the first roundabout and ahead the road forks, stay to the right following the signs to Torremolinos.

This will take you onto a dual carriageway. After about 1 km take the slip road signed to Churriana.

Follow the signs to Churrianna up a dual carriageway with lots of traffic lights. You will come to a roundabout, take the first exit signed Cartama.

Follow this road until you reach a roundabout with a road over the top. Follow the sign to Campillos.

When you arrive at Campillos, you will be on a “longabout” take the left which is signed to Jerez de la Frontera. Go through Campillos Continuing on the A382 (sometimes called A384) you will pass turns to Teba, Almargen and La Atalaya and about 15-20 mins after Campillos, at Km 83 you will see a sign right signposted A9223 to Algamitas and El Penon, take this turn and approx 5 km later you will come into Algámitas. Follow the road through the village and you will leave the village in the direction of Pruna and after about ½ km you will come to a left hand bend, at this point you should turn right onto a gravel road. Another ½ km later you should turn right up a concrete track. Cortijo Rosario is the second white building on your right.

From Jerez Airport

 

Jerez de la Frontera  ------  Arcos de la Frontera  ------  Olvera  ------  Algámitas  ------  Cortijo Rosario

 

Leave the airport and follow the signs towards Cádiz, look out for the signs to Arcos de la Frontera. Once on this road (normally called the A382 but sometimes A384) you will travel for approx one hour passing round Arcos, round Algodonales, round Olvera until you finally arrive at a left turn just after Km 82. You will see a sign left signposted A9223 to Algamitas and El Penon, take this turn and approx 5 km later you will come into Algámitas. Follow the road through the village and you will leave the village in the direction of Pruna and after about ½ km you will come to a left hand bend, at this point you should turn right onto a gravel road. Another ½ km later you should turn right up a concrete track. Cortijo Rosario is the second white building on your right.

 

From Granada Airport

 

Granada  ------  Antequera  ----  Campillos  ------  Algámitas  ------  Cortijo Rosario

 

Yoiu leave the airport and follow the road until you meet the A92. Follow the signs towards Sevilla. Stay on the A92 passing Loja and Archidona.  Continue on this road (towards Seville) until exit 146 signposted to Campillos. After approx. 25 Km you will go through Campillos following the signs to Jerez de la Frontera. Continuing on the A382 (sometimes called A384) you will pass turns to Teba, Almargen and La Atalaya and about 15-20 mins after Campillos, at Km 83 you will see a sign right signposted A9223 to Algamitas and El Penon, take this turn and approx 5 km later you will come into Algámitas. Follow the road through the village and you will leave the village in the direction of Pruna and after about ½ km you will come to a left hand bend, at this point you should turn right onto a gravel road. Directions to Cortijo Rosario by train

 

 

 

 

From Malaga Airport                                                                                                               

Take the “Cercanias” train from the airport station to Malaga “RENFE” station costing 1€. At Malaga station buy a ticket to Almargen, the closest station to the Cortijo (approx cost 10€). There are some direct trains to Almargen, which take 1 hour for the journey. If none are conveniently timed take any train to Bobadilla and change there to a train to Almargen, which is on the Antequera-Ronda-Algeciras line. From Almargen station take a taxi to the Cortijo Rosario (approx 22€). Taxi journey time is about 15 mins. Alternatively a taxi directly from the airport to the Cortijo Rosario will cost approx 150€ and takes approx. 1 ¼ hours
